Clarence Kranz was born on February 27, 1895 in Roundout IL to Carolina (Meintzer) Kranz and Adam Kranz. He is the youngest of two brothers with Raymond being born in 1892. The two served in WW1. Afterwards Clarence married May Belle Eiserman in October 1923 having two kids, Alfred in 1924 and Glen in 1926. Clarence and May Belle were married until her death in 1932. He had a career in the railroad with the Milwaukee Road.
